It starts off just with a random
lamborghini that is parked somewhere and some random man shoots the gas
tank of the car...hence (you guessed it...) leading to a spontaneous
explosion. Right now, we have no idea "WHAAAAT" just happened.
Anil
Kapoor (RD in the film) begins to narrate and introduces us to Armaan
Malik (John Abraham) and his step sister Alina Malik (Deepika Padukone).
These two are in business (with eachother) and are "super rich". Armaan
Malik used to be a street fighter (yes exactly like the game,
unfortunately no hadukens in the film) turn rich dude!
Armaan and Alina are shown playing a game of poker with Vikram Thapar (Rajesh Khattar) who is some big shot casino owner.
Fast forward, Armaan meets the "girl" for him, Omisha (Jacqueline Fernandez) and they instantaneously fall in love.
Here
comes Ranvir Singh (Saif Ali Khan), with a continuation from the first
one, we get to a point where Ranvir meets RD and asks to meet Armaan
Malik. Weird right?? But that's how it goes.
Next scene, we see
Ranvir going into Vikram Thapar's casino with $5 million and loses it
and says "That's the money I gave up to meet you" (you as in Vikram).
Due to some purposeful misunderstandings on Vikram's end, Ranvir Singh
"screws" him over and in return all the casinos he once owned, go to
Armaan Malik.
Why does it go to Armaan Malik? Well as we see, that
Ranvir Singh (when he met Armaan Malik) tells Armaan that he will get
him Vikram's casinos for a third of the price of what they actually are
worth (which he does...the 5 million from before) .
Why
is Ranvir Singh being so generous to Armaan Malik ...well actually he
wants to give him all Armaan wants and then STEAL IT AWAY FROM HIM!!
Because the lambo at the start of the movie, was Ranvir's and Sonia
(Bipasha Basu from the Race) was in the car when the car exploded!
Cliffhanger right? Well, I would suggest you watch the rest of the film,
I've given you a taster of what the movie is about (yes indeed there
are TOO MANY TWISTS AHEAD), but I would say you should watch it!
I give this film,7/10 "7 out of 10"
Rating: Above Average/Interesting Story, but not very believable!
